usually wen i try to system restore it doesnt work my comp reboots and says system cant be restored bla bla and then everythign seems ot go really slow like its all fucked up then i have to reboot regulary and it goes back to normal any1 know wats up?
ive done that, ive updated my windows xp ive gotten all the new virus updates and i have deleted all those little programs u get wen u browse the internet and nothign seems to work
On your desktop, RIGHT click on "My Computer" then on "Properties" and finally click on "System Restore". Make SURE it's turned ON, and you have at least 2% of the drive space allocated for it to use, on EACH hard drive you have installed. I set mine to 10% because I have a LOT of things I need protected. Let us know...
I use Roxio Go Back instead. I can't praise that program enough. it does the same as system restore but is infinitly better, and you can get it off Kazaalite.
I don't use system restore. if I really need to, I recover. Turning System Restore off is a performace boost anyway. Besides, I can back averything up to my slave. No loss.
