Isn't that a bit superficial, though?

Is it impossible for you to say, ok- she's too done up. But if we put her in different clothes, took the make up out, and stuff- she'd look pretty?

Thats not the point though, the point is that SS face is straight broke, bent, and all around ugly.
Thus, no, no matter how she was presented, she is still ugly, in my eyes.

 

You can pull off girl next door splendidly, though.

I think she's amazingly beautiful.

 

But to me she's not ugly because she looks skanky!

She looks ugliER because she looks skanky and if she didnt she would look a bit better, but I still wouldnt like her.

I dont see why this is so hard to understand. The SS girl is someone who I would never find attractive even if she was dressed different, with different make up, I just dont find her attractive at all. Not because she's a blonde or has big boobs or is a porn star, I just think she's ugly.

 

Btw I dont believe in true ugly. The only ugly that exists, IMO, is in personality, unhealth, or in bad shoes.

 

Cate I dont think and have ever thought you looked fake if you said it because of my comments towards SS. I dont think anything of what I said about her applies to you.

I agree. I have an ex that looks like Lurch from the Adams Family...but he is such a sweetheart that to me he is better looking than any guy on a catwalk or in Hollywood.

 

That's going a bit far.

There are people who are ugly. It doesn't mean they are worthless individuals, just different qualities.

 

Then maybe you should learn to ignore that and try to get to know people. I never trust firts impressions based on looks. :cheers2:

 

Mmmm. I think anyone can look hot, or hot in someone's eyes. I mean, I kinda do this when Im out and about. When Im people watching, I think how I would do people up. And everyone can have sex appeal.

 

How can we ignore that when we are talking about celebs?

It's just that, for one, she doesn't have big boobs. And, for two- you were the one that kept bringing up the cosmetics with every post.

I'm talking about her body plain and simple. If you think her body plain and simple is UGLY, I think you're mad.

It may be that her objective physique is not ATTRACTIVE to you, but that's different than saying she's UGLY.

This could not be someone you saw down the street and cringed (unless you cringe about her presentation). I call hypocrisy.

 

Just as an aside, I would totally do Aura, Janja, and Ange. In bed.

 

People at their best and healthy, always do have some kind of appeal.

I have found ugly people attractive for that reason, but that doesn't make them objectively the same as a super hottie.

 

True but why judge them at all? Like I said I never go by looks. If I did I would never have the amazing people in my life that are there. I went to school with a girl that is now an actress. It's funny because she always tells people here that everyone is so different from what she thought they would be. That's the point we all have something about us other than our faces and bodies.

I have no opinion about celebs because I don't know them....but I'm not going to say someone is ugly. So what if they don't meet your preference - ignore them and praise someone you do find appealing.
