Good arvo lads, I used to live in Newton, right across from the tracks on Bedford near Albermarle. I was working a pub in Merrickville. Awful place actually, llittle german cockroaches running around everywhere. No activities ever. Just pokies, ponies, dogs and a beat up old big screen where they would show the grand finals matches. One old pool table and a jukebox. And a bar full of old men. But it were cheap beer and good people full of good stories.
My kind of pub! There's a cute little pub in a back street of Marrickville somewhere, can't remember the street. Kind of near Shepherd St I think...
wootwoot i didnt think so many people would live here.. i live in glenbrook, a small town at the foot of the blue mountains, which is in the sydney area i guess.. i love the mountains much more than the city though, its pretty nice here, especially in autumn like it is now.
