How does this make it old and one we have seen before? You mean mutation never ceases? Amazing. I do try to.
Hoopla and hysteria. BUT. Anyone who has raised ANIMALS in captivity knows that the more there are and the more overcrowded they become, the easier it gets for disease to take a foothold and spread. We are like those animals in captivity. And the scientists know this. And I suspect that is why the big freakout. It IS long overdue. I think we could agree on that. We need no scientists to tell us what is common sense. We can travel long distances too easily. We import too many things from out of country regularly. Quarantines don't work well any more with this type of lifestyle. And that is all we really need to know. It IS possible. And probably a good thing in the long run that people ARE a bit freaked out. Just goes to show we cannot continue to live this "anything goes" lifestyle forever. So, it's ABOUT TIME that the masses figured it out.
Not if you live in Mexico. There does seem to have been a sudden influx of Mexican news editors, recently. Even over here in the UK. Strange. I wonder if the two are connected. Mmmmmm
the fact that it is from four different continents should and has raised suspicion is what I am getting at. even a UN official stated it could be man made. it's origins are very unnatural and hasn't been seen before. show me one more disease that's from four continents....what's more is how it emerged so suddenly. if this is indeed a naturally mutated disease from the corners of the world, and as big as it's hype, it would not happen overnight. but whatever, we all are entitled to our own opinion. this is nothing but fear mongering imo...Spanish Flu killed a million in the first five weeks. Mexico City, with its population, would be fucked.
well, you pseudo rationalist selective skeptic newtonian materialists aren't exactly known for your intuition.
I found this theory on Prison Planet. I don't trust Prison Planet. http://www.moonmind.com/?p=318 On wiki it now states it is only two. Certainly are...as long as it is kept as up to date as we can. You have certainly scared the hell out of me.
it's called "mexican" swineflu for a reason smart one. and actually, survey after survery has verified that a great dela of americans do in fact want immigration laws better enforced.
it has elementsof avian flu, human flu types a and b, asian and european swine flu. this strange combination hasn ever been seen before within a single influenza type. so the chances of it being of natural origin are slim.
I was more or less emotionally responding to the notion that immigrants would make the flu spread quicker...meaning to say that "everyone can spread the virus with equal ease" ..ethnicity has nothing to do with it..but we have already had that conversation, why bring it back up?.. AND I was also stating my opinion when it comes to immigrants so surveys and what "a great dela(sic)" of americans think is irrelevant... honestly I dont think its anyones business what anyone else thinks(its all in your head, haha), but whatever... hope that cleared up your interest in my opinion a little...still wondering why you used that quote, it was clearly an 'agree/disagree' response to a specific posters comment, nothing to do with data, statistics, surveys or anything related to "americans" sorry...it was all about me responding to HE... I think the whole flu thing is always bullshit anyway, not that people dont get it, and not that small children and the elderly don't die from it, but its definitely built up and brings a lot of fear i.nto the public which always brings skepticism from within myself..
