I have always believed that the Soviet Union was living proof that even something as wonderful as socialism could be corrupted by authoritarian power. To say that indicates there is nothing positive about socialism is like saying the Trump administration is proof that capitialism is always bad. European economies have done very well with a healthy mixture of both socialism and capitialism. Can any sane person look at the healcare systems in the US and scananavia and theUS is somehow better? Extraordinay wealth does not come out of thin air...it comes out of the same economy we all live in. The income and wealth distribution in the US is a global disgrace and has serious long term political risks.
Becoming adults means we learn compassion for others and don’t think that inheritance means we somehow superior.

Mick Jagger of the UK came to the US for heart surgery, some months after his return he had the nerve to criticize the health care system in the US. Does anyone else find this to be ironic or strange behavior?

No. We have the experts, but not for everyone. The super rich always can get the best of everything. The vast majority? Ahhhh- good luck . The poor? Die motherfuckers.
