But! if there are a few, established, reliable members that are interested then let me know! I skimmed some previous posts about swap boxes and some of them seemed to go smoothly, but others seemed to have gotten lost.. not sure if I would organize it just for the U.S. or not since sending it out of country would cost more and take longer..


I'll organize who it'd be sent to next and you have to let us know when you sent it. Maybe we could make it like a game where the next person receiving gets to describe something they'd like to see in the swap box, like, "something soft and squishy" or "something musical," "something pink and purple," etc so the person sending it out has to find something to put in the box that fits that description.

Well, I'd start it out with a few things. I think I'd like to keep it sort of hippy themed and I have ideas for some things..or maybe love themed? Since Valentine's day is coming up. So once I've gotten enough people to join, I'll send it out to the first person. I think it should be limited to trading one or two things. So if you take one thing, you have to replace it with something. I'll then let that person know who they need to send it to next.. I guess the box would get back to me in the end since I started it out with a couple of things.

It's just a fun way to get mail and trade things.

Well, nobody has said they wanna participate yet. But maybe it should be open to everyone, including people not in the U.S. People need to be on it though and send the box on as quickly as they can so it doesn't get stuck somewhere for too long..

 

I think I'll also put a greeting card in the box that can stay in there as a sort of log so when you receive the box, you can sign and date it and write messages to eachother..
maybe post a photo in this thread of what you took out of the box so we know when someone gets something we put in the box

 

The swap box I got involved with a few years ago got stolen by the person who was on the list after me. She got the box and then disappeared.
