Okay I'm keeping a list of the people that have told me thru this thread or pm that they are interested and when it gets to I'd say 8 to 13 people total I'll get addresses and let everyone know the list/order.

Well so far we have six people.... I think I'm gonna wait til we get somewhere between 8 and 13 or so people and then I'll let you guys know when I need your addresses and get a list out with the order n all that.

I have done something like this, 'cept it is called cist and it was in France and you hid the box in a significant area of your town/city and left directions online for people to sign up for and than look for said box.

So yah, you sign up for the website, find a ciste location near you, click the directions button to get an email with the directions, print 'em out and go cisting! Some are real hard to find but always fun. When you find the box, you put something in, take something out and (usually) write an entry in a book left with the items in the box.

It is nearly impossible to accidently stumble across a ciste unless you are looking for it as people hide them real well even if it is in say..Paris or Boston. Though I think my gfs mom found one once without printing the directions... very rarely some are lost. But there are 38000 in France...and a few hundred in Germany, Netherlands, Switzerland and surrounding countries.

Cists are cool.

I wonder if the U.S. has anything like that...

Anyways so far I have a list of seven people that are gonna do the swap box....

Need a few more....

It's called geocaching. You need a GPS device to do it. It's mostly stupid little items in the box, and sometimes there's no box at all, people mostly just do it for the adventure. I like it cause I like to walk around in the woods

Except I don't have a gps device....

 

yeah me either. but my friend does. i think if you type in coordinates in google maps you can get the general gist of the area, but it probably wouldn't be worth it. you'd probably get out there and then not be able to find it.

Kay....sign ups are over....
assuming the three people I am still waiting for send me their addresses there will be ten of us in the swap. So I'm gonna wait to make sure they are still in and then make the list with the order of the swap. Basically when you get the swap write your name beside the items you take out and cross them off.... put a new sheet of paper in with what you are putting in and send on....

Put in about the same amount of things around the same value as you take out.

And your address will only go to the person sending you the swap.

If I don't get the order done tonight (and I likely won't), I'll have it done and sent out to everyone in the morning.

 

GPS device - what ever happened to people use maps and coordinates?

 

Machines are taking over the world.

because not excersiceing ur brain is not good 4 u as my primaqry school teacher used 2 say temp if u dont use it u will surely lose it soon people will hav machines doin everything then they wouldnt hav 2 do anything except sit on theyr fat arses n get fatter haha i love doin things especially with my brain

So I'll be pming you and everyone else in the next hour with the order... and lyns i need your address.... it'll just go to the person sending you the box...
