I often get that from people who aren't used to like... our regional colloquialisms and whatnot, but yeah, I've been told that a fair bit.

What the hell is a waffle house? Just a Denny's with different food? Open 24 hours, but shitty in every conceivable way? Dunno. Never been to one.

I do know that I love sushi best on a Sunday morning. We have a weekly tradition of all going at noon sunday morning to kill the hangover. Have upwards of 40 people sometimes, but usually about a dozen.

Shabusan has the best water I've ever had.

As for the beer issue: either drunk or pretentious, there isn't much of a middle ground.

 

Tim Hortons and Dunkin Donuts are the places to go late at night when you are out of your normal state of consciousness :H

 

i'd say its more like Pita Pit or Sheris (its like dennys) or IHOP. though usually I just go to the fridge for munchies heh.

 

Sushi can contain parasites - Fluke. I'm very much 'into' Parasitology

 

meg - the raw fish kind lol. it really is delicious...

brad - waffle house is where you go when you are drunk and broke for greasy ass food and waitresses with little or no teeth in their mouths [hahah, not including me of course]

i always go to macdonalds when im drunk [im a cheap date ]

What about Martha Wainwright? I ADORE her! I saw her and Rufus in a concert together about a year ago, they were amazing.

I don't like the shuffle because everytime I switch the player to shuffle it starts playing Take That and that's somewhat embarrasing, hahah. Uhh... not that I have Take That on the computer or anything...

when i do have the pleasure of enjoying sushi, i like to have saki with it.
saki takes getting used to cuz you have to warm it up before you drink it and then it has a wierd taste at first. but its a delight to have with the sushi.
