If you read his farewell thread, his first post says that he planned to walk into the woods and just not come back out. I'm pretty sure he's dead

i've read alot of great shit about him but he was gone before i came

I'm probably not the best person to explain who he was as i never grew so read all his advice and never really read much of his stuff but...

Rangerdanger was some old hippy dude from waht i gather who used marijuana medicinally and recreationally when he was young.
He knew a shit load about bud and wrote some very indepth growing guides, Gorilla style or in house.
He was a chilled guy who occaisonally made some hillarious posts that completely destroyed peoples credibility (like you'll see in some pople sigs).
Anyway, he got head cancer i believe and said he was gunna walk into some woods and die, a good way to go i think for someone like him.
