i just fixed by surf board by myself...i am all like did i do it right ...maybe i ruined it and everyone will laugh at my sad patch. One of the life guardswho by the way is a very good looking fellow, makes boards for a living and is teaching me how to fix my board since i keep trashing it. He was not here this time to coach me. I have four patchs on it now counting the one i did. :&
yeah my new used board. a yellow Kane fish board. 6'4 well yesterday i was out and i fell off the front and hit the nose and left a nice crack. do you fix your own boards? It makes me so nervous fixing mine. by the way what board do you use?
never! ? how often do you surf? I go almost every day. Tamarindo is a surf heaven. There are waves ALL the time. sometimes they are little and sucky but they are there. how long is your board? people keep asking " and your standing up on that ok?" 6'4 works great for me but it is 2 inches thick and not so narrow. whats it make of?
I surf when i'm on holiday, i live like an hour from the coast (London) and for decent surf its a 5 hr drive, so no where near as often as i'd like.,...its like a shit...i can't remember....fibreglass i assume
I don't fix my own unless it's first aid. Where I go in North Carolina, there's so many people I know that will do it even better than I can for cheap or the ones I'm close to won't charge me at all.
well this guy did it for me for free but i feel bad haveing him fix it all the time for nothing. He does not make much money...neither do i at the moment...lol have you ever messed your board up trying to fix it?
