my husband drains the water out, puts the seasoning on it and coats it with ketchup.

    Best poor food?

Mine is lobster souffle with a thin layer (only about 1 ounce) of Madegascar caviar in betwwen and a sprinkling of gouda cheese from Belgium atops it all! Capers from the hills of Kuna Lai are optional.

you'll die even fast from a complete lack of anything, which is why many fall back on ramen noodles.

We're going to need some proof. Any anti-ramen sites out there? Ramenwillkillyou.com perhaps?

Car accidents will kill you too. I'm sure there are no "anti-car accident" web sites out there either. It's all common sense........ .05 cents for a meal is bound to do harm. duh!

The only time I ever ate Ramen noodles was back in 1974 when I was in Korea.

I like Zatarain brand black or red beans and rice. A very filling and pretty tasty meal for around 2 dollars.

speaking of korean women....well, actually not. Grilled cheese and marmite on toast is mmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
budeget meals - baked beans I guess, maybe couscous with lemon and caramelised onion...homemade pizza is quite budge too.
As someone said, the more you make from scratch the cheaper it gets.

Yes there are, actually. Plenty. www.madd.org for example. And you can take your "duh!", roll it up really tight and shove it up your ass.

And frankly, the price of a meal has nothing to do with health. I buy brown rice in bulk, and it would cost about .05 cents a meal, too.

Sauteed greens (mustards, collards, Swiss chard) with black olives, onion, garlic and Roma tomatoes over white rice. I usually make enough for six or seven meals.
Second choice is macaroni and cheese from the box !
