    Ramen soup... or mac and cheese. I like mustard sandwiches, too... but everyont thinks that's weird, so I probably shouldn't have told you. :(

    veggie broth, turnips, potatoes, carrots, and celery in a pot.....

    I like mustard(honey) w/ cheese sandwiches too happy! yummm....
    Honey and peanut butter on toasted wheat bread is really good too. broke food is great.

    I like grilled cheese with lettuce and tomato... but lettuce and tomato are perishables, therefore, a luxury.

    Beans and rice all the way. My parents have some great recipes for them from when they lived in Puerto Rico way back when.

    When I was broke all the time, I, sadly, did not know abut Ramen, so I ate alot of biscuits with butter and jelly. You can get 10 biscuits for $1. Could never eat them all.

    Lentil stew
    I do a lot of cooking from scratch, it's cheaper that way.

    Ramen noodles with frozen mixed veggies thrown in. I throw away the packet that comes with the noodles though and I season it with chili powder, cumin, and hot sauce. Or sometimes I season it with coconut if I have any.
