Since it's too cold to get an erection in Norway, I think they just use the term that is used in whichever country they are vacationing. I'm not 100% sure that's correct though.
It may be bokmal. There are different kind of norse apparently. Lots of norwegian black metal bands (and that line was taken from such a band) prefer to write in an older kind or their own dialect. I assume the translator site aims for nynorsk. But I have gotten good translations when throwing lyrics in such a translator thing myself, and it seemed the same kind of norse (but im far from an expert)
Talking about weather, have you ever noticed that The Weather Channel always seems to focus on the South or the North a majority of time? It seems that they are ignoring the midwest and or California? Maybe it is just me but that seems very strange and frustrating.
I learn something new every day! I've read stuff on norse mythology, but I know little about the language and dialects. I'd never heard of Black metal until I encountered hipforums either, lol.
wait until the midwest or california has a potentially dangerous weather situation. all weather outlets focus 100% on trying to scare the shit out of everybody by pretending that every weather phenomenon is a unique way that everyone is going to die. it's where their ratings come from.
It's been super duper cool this summer in my area. Most nights haven't even required opening the window to prevent night sweating.
Looks like summer is just starting again here lol. I always laugh at the descriptions here. Instead of just overcast, clear. Sky is clear. Overcast clouds
