This summer really hasn't been bad here. We've only had a couple of days that have hit 100f all summer, other than that it has stayed in the upper 80s, low 90s
Here in the PNW we can have summer heat, but this has not been a hot summer. Lots of on-shore flow off the Pacific so most days have clouds in the morning with a high arround 75to 80. Very dry but that’s not unusual in the summer.
Amen to that. Actually I don't care what the weather is, hot or cold. Just as long as the hurricanes stay away.
Hurricanes are scary monsters, even more so at sea - was on the Bridge of a 100,000 ton tanker and still looking up at the top of the waves.
Slowly but surely the temps are coming down again. Low 20s with a few higher days. Getting into the teens by end of week. Almost time for the last pruning of the garden. Soon the lakes and creeks will freeze, snow will lay is veil. And we must wait for the summer breeze before we can set our sails!
I have interest in extreme temperatures. In winters, I go to a town in northeastern turkey at an elevation of 2030 metres where temps can drop below zero even in July and in summer I decided to go the hottest spot in the country. For just weather.
If you love extremes then you'd love Death Valley https://www.accuweather.com/en/us/death-valley-ca/92384/weather-forecast/2258469
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Since i'm surrounded by experts in the Norwegian language. If a guy from Norway has a hard-on, do they call that Norwegian Wood?
