God sugar is the absolute one thing that i cannot stop doing. I am a straight up feind for it. I used to ignorantly eat it with no concern but i am starting to feel more and more guilty for doing it the more i learn about every negative thing about it. I am skinny as fuck so being fat is not the issue but the issue is about every other reason on that list in the link. I am sure that if i got sugar out of my diet my health would probably multiply by 5. It just doesn't seem possible since i have been a hardore sugar addict since i was little. Its just like a part of me. I should favorite that list so i can remind myself about it every day.

I don't know anybody that doesn't know that lol. Fruit is a safer kind of sugar though since it's like glucose or something.

Fruit contains nature sugars which are easily digested and metabolized by the body and have a much lower GL than an equal amount of refined sugar. It is recommended by most nutritionists that a person limit their intake of added sugars to 40 grams per day, however natural sugars have no limit beyond daily GL goals. So when we're having a discussion about refined sugar, people don't include fruit, obviously.

Sugar is still sugar, no matter whether it's from. Obviously fruit sugars aren't as harsh as regular, but it should still be moderated if you're worried about sugar intake.

There you have it. Although I'll also point out that a lot of fruit is high in carbohydrates and so the fructose isn't the only factor in determining its GI.

Noticed kids get hyperactive when they eat sweets. My friend and his wife often argues about him giving sweets to their boy. LOL

Those count. What people should be concerned about is the total glycemic load of what they're eating, not how they get it. This means that a certain amount of whole wheat bread has an equivalent in white sugar. And people should definitely be concerned about having too much honey or agave.

Could a sugar-evil continuum be created?

High-Fructose Corn Syrup ... refined sugar... brown sugar and molasses ... honey ... fruit?
