I've just been thru it. It has definitely taken its toll, on its own accord, and by antagonising some pre-existing medical conditions. I have visibly lost more weight in the past week. I was already 25 lbs under my normal weight. And I've been having terrible abdominal pain. I would get into more detail. But, beforehand, I guess I need to know if any body here has any experience/knowledge with opioid withdrawal, specifically buprenorphine, and the effects it can have on an otherwise healthy body, let alone a diseased body?

I have relapsed. Back to doing dope. Or whatever this shit is. I was excruciating pains not directly involved with WD; another health issue I have was exacerbated by the WD. So I did some dope to ease the pain. Now I'm back in the maelstrom.

Hey at least your brave enough to say that, you probably know this yourself alot of people wouldn't even admit they slipped up untill it was way way out of control. You can do this man, ive seen guys do it before. Identify were you could of done things different or made changes to make sure you didnt go backwards. Dont give up on yourself.

The few people I know who kicked it went through the methadone program and got down to 5-3 ml. But they started living healthy about halfway through their program and hit the gym, so they were physically and mentally much more strong and had undone over time some of the damage the drugs had done to them.
With suboxone, im thinking maybe you would be better to have much more medical support as well as social and mental support. I cant imagine it would be easy as the drugs have basically been numbing your nerves. So having them not have that total effect on all your nerves in your body is bound to be seriously though. They really should help you with medications on top of that for pain management, cramps, sleep and appetite. Good luck man.
