If you have a glass piece with a lot of curves/nooks that are hard to get to with a traditional scraping instrument do what my buddy did: Get a high powered magnet, and a paper clip. Roll the paper clip around a pencil or pen, or even a screw driver (smaller = better) to make a springy thing, then put that in your bowl, next use the magnet to move the spring over every nook and crany of the piece, occasionally emptying the spring of resin...
in perth theres these stem cleaners you can buy. i havnt really looked at them cos i always just use a stretched paperclip but you might be able to find something at your local headshop
grab a hammer.. sledgehammer if possible (bigger the better) bring it down onto ur peice and retrieve the gooey insides
Haha ladies and gentlemen, that was our local australian guy, if you havent got one yet, pick em up at your local convenience store today
This thread is weird lol i can see where sirtokesalot was coming from though. It's kinda like "No bud?! No stove?!*bam* in a joking way. just my 2 cents.
the other night i cleaned out my pipe of resin for the first time, its just one of those cheap $8 metal pipes from a tobacconist, i just found a thin piece of plastic and tried to shove it down, it didnt really work too well though, i know theres plenty left, whats this thing about rubbing alcohol?
