Hey I just noticed something--the contraction of "will not" is "won't", right? That doesn't make any sense. Every other self-respecting contraction just replaces a few letters with an apostrophe. This one changes the "ill" part of "will" to an "o"... Who the hell came up with that idea?
It's because "willn't" looks far too silly and doesn't exactly roll off the tongue... Besides, if you said "I willn't", nobody would have a clue what you were babbling about.
