I find it most notable that you felt the need to append this disclaimer to this discussion. Mr. Writer/Mr. Photographer- your able wordsmithing is a display of an art that seems increasingly lost on more and more people.... though there are a good many posting on these forums who show the capability. I appreciate that folks like yourself show respect for others by communicating intelligently. You're not only adept at taking the picture; you're equally capable of furnishing the thousand words that the picture is worth.
Not really sure what you mean by that comment? But after posting I realized that the remark could possibly be construed as a derogatory jab at thedope, which is not my intent, just poking a little fun, plus the additional remark adds to the attempt at humor that I'm sure Mr. Writer and thedope will get and appreciate.. As you point out in your above remark, written communication is a skill no longer given the importance it should, and as such my remark could be taken the wrong way, not by either Mr. Writer or thedope, but by others. I think it is exactly because so many do not pick up on the subtleties of message and intent that are conveyed not only by the words chosen, but also by the way in which they are used contextually also conveys meaning and intent, that I choose my words carefully. Unfortunatly that is something far too few practice. I do agree with you that Mr. Writer is a very good communicator, verbally and visually, not only in these photos, but often in the sig pics he uses. Just wait until he finishes his Philosophy of Language course.

Not intended as derogatory- perhaps more a playful jab at both of you. I like to creatively and purposefully misinterpret words of others for amusement.
I lost my cellphone in the rapids. Then a snake peed on my hand and tried to bite me repeatedly. One of the best days I've had there XD The water was so clear it took my breath away. With my belongings and travel companion safely on dry land, I lay down on the rock in the bottom of the picture and let the water tickle past me as the sun poured onto me.
An unexpected visitor. He was very curious and mindful of me. He snapped at me repeatedly like a venomous cobra, with not even a single tooth. So cute.
All of your shots are stunning and yet calming. It makes me want to go visit and just sit. Thanks for sharing them.
It's been in the 90's around here this week and you have no idea how good and inviting that water looks. On second thought I guess you do know. I'm envious yet happy for you that you can enjoy such a place while I am stuck in the middle of miles of suburbia. I guess I could hit the beach, but that presents a danger to aircraft because of the glare off my pasty white legs.
