Students in High School (shoes)

I'm a Junior in High School, and ever since my freshman year I (quite often) take off my shoes (I wear Vans) during class and stay in socks for the period. I do this in most of my classes and always have.

Usually one or two others do the same and nobody seems to care much.

Do any of you guys do this?

 

i wear vans too, and i slip them off in a few classes, when i take exams, and when i drive. glad to hear i'm not alone.

 

I used to go to high school barefoot all the time. Always got in trouble for it... dress code and all. It sure was freeing though.

 

i never went barefoot in high school, but i sure do it a lot now!

 

I go barefoot a lot because it is the hippy thing to do. If I am around hippies, I don't want to look like a square for wearing shoes.

 

Never liked going barefoot. I wear sandals in the summer and moccasins the rest of the time.

 

i occasionally kicked off my shoes during class. mostly just in the classes where i knew it would piss off the teacher...

Thats kind of a strange reason to go barefoot, but hey, it it works for you then do it.

 

i tend to be barefoot because its the healthy thing to do

 

dude, how can you wear shoes!? going barefoot is like natural so it's the right thing to do and any fascist that tells you to put on shoes is evil because in nature people don't wear shoes.

i wore flip flops a lot so it was already like being barefoot.

 

barefoot is much quieter and you don't have to worry about holding your shoes on with your toes...

I dunno. Sometimes I remove my shoes at school or at work. But usually because I've been sitting for too long (two hours) and need to sit cross legged or curled up in the chair or something. I can't sit still very well.

The only time I'll ever go barefoot is when my feet are raw and sore from marching too long in my boots, and even then im reluctant.

i hate being barefoot

 

In high school I only wore my shoes in the hallway, gym, and bathroom. Otherwise, the shoes came off as soon as I sat down.

 

I remember running for the bus to get to school once( I had sthg important on that day).
However , I decided I shouldnt really run to catch it - I'd just realised I'd put one black and one brown shoe on..
