I know what you mean, I think. I find that when I'm away from the internet for awhile I go back to the way things were before it's existence and I don't even miss it/want to use it.

When I went away a few months ago I was gone for 3 days. By the time I got back I didn't even feel like using the computer, which I didn't for another 4 days after getting back. It felt good to be technology free for a week.

It's more about a change of routine for me. I've changed jobs and my routine has altered. Plus, like I was saying, I'm feeling a little miserable at the moment. I don't wish to pass my melancholy on.

Why are you feeling miserable? Don't bother answering if you prefer not to.

It's just the time of year.
I always feel miserable at this time of year.
Everything seems worse than it actually is.
I tend to see people for what they actually are and don't pass it off as human nature.
    I see them as devils.

Yea, I know what you mean. I think a lot of people dislike this time of year for various reasons. It can bring out the worst in society in general. People become so consumed with consuming, greed and vanity is at an all time high.

Unfortuantely the holidays create a feeling of uneasiness in those who go without, have no one to share them with, those lacking money, etc. It's too bad they're made out to be that way. It doesn't even resemble what it's supposed to represent, and no one really seems to care at all any more.

Wouldn't what people really are technically be human nature? Might as well pass it off as such.

Yes, and normally I would see it as that.
I would generally not make a big deal out of other peoples "human nature" and would just let it roll off my back if it I wasn't involved.
But now I can't stomach the way some people are/behave.
I have a feeling a few females I know are actually bastards...I ignored their behaviour because I was not on the receiving end...but now it bothers me.
    I've become jundemental.

You don't sound judgemental to me. Maybe just a little naive, though I don't mean that meanly. Calling people what they are isn't judgemental. Don't blame yourself for pointing out their crummy behaviour.

If you noticed these women being bastards to others, it was a little naive to think you'd be spared of the same treatment.

A lot of people don't mind bastard type behaviour in others as long as it's not directed at them, which is somewhat unfortunate of people. The best way to avoid it though is to just not be friends with people who treat others poorly. Not that I have to tell you.

Same here, at least bastards won't turn on you. There's nothing to turn lol

Being a bastard is one thing. Being a bastard to those who don't derserve or warrant it is another.

Does sitting in front of a PC count?
    Seriously, no I have not.

What they are doing might seem perfectly ok to some. It might be more to do with my slight conservative nature. If they are playing with players, they are all just playing the same game. I should be ok with that. I'm not.

    I'm avoiding them.

    lol, I wish it did...

Give it a shot... I used to brush the idea off...

However, my daughter was born jaundiced, and had to be under a light therapy lamp for a week. Watching her skin change from a yellowish tinge to normal colored skin, really made me think...

I don't actually have a proper therapy lamp, but I do try to keep it bright around me, and it does seem to help.

What helps the most though is that when I am inside at the computer during the day, I am sitting in front of a south facing window that is floor to ceiling, and as long as the sun is shining, I am getting blasted with light...

It tends to keep me from getting really bitchy... (lol, imagine what I would be like without it...)

    edited to add

and wearing less clothes helps too, if you are in light...

I like that pic too! And it does seem strange that the body guards of the Old Couple would drive that way with what was going on. They would HAVE to have radios to warn of such things and turn around and go the other way to do their job and protect Charlie and the Chippy....

I've heard the protestors had deviated from the given route of the protest (you can't march around the streets where ever you like when ever you like - en masse)...and the car found itself in the middle of trouble.
Some say the police had miss-communications.
    They fucked it up, basically.
