Been barefoot most of the time for years, if not flip flops, maybe a few hours in sneakers once in a wile. Foot smell f yuck, been so long I forgot. Seriously long time. Some people think its weird probably our preference to be barefoot, what ever. Ya foot nasty can be prevented in shoes all day with effort but still.
Look what I found with a quick search "The stinking smell from the gloves emerges from bacteria breeding; thus, cleaning your boxing gloves using an anti-bacterial spray can quickly zap germs/ bacteria. The saltwater solution is another approach to get rid of the rotten stinky-feet smell off the gloves. Put in place cleaning tricks such as freezing the gloves and using baking soda or apple cider vinegar to kill the smelly odor." How to Clean Smelly Boxing Gloves: Easy step-by-step guide Yep, a hand and a foot the same thing different shape. I think I get people who say "I hate feet" its the smell. That has to be the only reason. Actually no question about it. Thats the reason 99% of the time. It has to be. I cant read minds but nothing could convince me different.
It's the smell, yes. But in some cases, people detest the very look of feet. Particularly the toes. It is a psychological thing.
I know guy’s that wear shoes all day until they go to bed and then they wear socks to bed . They do not like to look at their own bare feet let alone someone else bare feet. But I have seen they wear flip flops Once in a blue moon.
That is probably mainstream society's influence on them, with wearing socks and shoes being considered the "norm." Their feet never get to breathe! Every person has their own opinion about their feet: from loving them, to just accepting them, or all the way to total aversion.
I used to be the same way but now I paint peoples toes so not a big deal unless they have been wearing shoes all day.
Massaging my wifes feet and then painting toes. Got over it pretty quick plus I started barefooting around then too.
That's awesome and a great story. I'm glad you were able to overcome, and now live barefoot and painting people's toenails. I guess it just takes the right conditions for others to become open to touching feet and/or barefooting.
I dont know, havent been in the forum for a wile now. But anyway I think its the shoe caused smell that gives people an aversion to feet. Just by chance this computer is such a POS but I googled aversion to make sure I spelled it right and there is a thing called aversion therapy Feet smell stay away. Its mass unintended aversion therapy.
Welcome back. I agree that that is the most common scenario. Interesting that there is such a thing called aversion therapy. Yes, the more we keep our feet out of shoes, the less others will be averted to bare feet. Now if only more people would ditch their stinking shoes...
That has to be exactly right. The smell caused by shoes is what people associate with feet. I bet zero percent of us have “foot smell” when we go barefoot.
