yea the reason they finaly signed the constitution was .....each state wanted to depend on its neighboring millitias to keep their own citizens from taking what they needed from the ritch n powerfull .

 

it was a gate that anyone couldve easily gotten by. sure you could try to get help but then again, youre on the middle of mountain and a ways away from the bottom. and even if you were to walk all the way down, youd still be in the middle of nowhere. there wouldnt have been anyone around to get help from (if youre that willing to trust a stranger)
