on a construction job one of the painter girls was discovered stripping down the street after work. word got around and every guy on the job walked into the bar that evening and the poor thing was embarrassed. but she was a good sport and gave all of us a great show. and showed up for work the next day.
I am a very straight man, but I could not care less for strippers. I find it degrading, stupid, boring, and I just plain feel embarrassed for the stripper.
No really, I agree completely with Lunar. Something like burlesque, slowly teasing the audience - that's sexy. But chicks getting slutty with a pole and acting wanting as long as they think they can get money out of you - how is that supposed to be sexy? The whole atmosphere reeks of consumerism and superficiality - neither thing is very arousing to me.
Strip clubs and the act of stripping and dancing nude for money is repulsing, in my mind, but somehow, my last four girlfriends were all at one point are are strippers - but weren't stripping when I was with them - but in the case of two of them, were doing it some nights where they worked as bartenders without telling me.
I can totally understand this point of view. And conversely, the idea of getting slutty with a pole in a noisy, smoky room full of faceless men has no appeal to me at all, but the idea of dancing for my man and maybe a small group of his guy friends in the den of my own home is hot, hot, hot.
To those who asked. Yes I do very much consider myself a man. I am a man who woman love and understand. To duck and Joey *high five*
