No offense to strippers but i think they are gross. Yeah you make enough money to pay the bills but its nasty. Why would you want to strip for a bunch of guys who mean nothing to you? It is so degrading. I dont know why this world has to have pronos and strip clubs and shit. Why cant people just be happy with one person. At strip clubs your just wasting your money by paying some girl to dance naked for you. Why not go home or find someone to go home to and have them strip for you for free. Trust me you will save a lot of money.
Why can't people be happy with just one other person? Because it takes all kinds and humans, particularly men, were not made to be with just one person forever and always. That's some junk society has tried to saddle humans with. If you look at the divorce, domestic abuse and cheating statistics you'll see just how well that bit of propaganda is working. Some strippers strike me as gross too. I'd never want to spend my money feeding a meter that doesn't pay off. Some are part of a sensual art though. Those I applaud wildly!
nah, actually that is sort of true. im not saying its COMPLETELY true.. but generally, yeah. sure its a job, but its a job that a bitch would only choose if she was hard-up for money. and for someone to either stoop to that level or not respect herself enough to care, being addicted to drugs is a good explanation for that. i know a lot of strippers. and those strippers know a lot of strippers. so thats how i know.
i can't just be with one person. wouldn't know how. i prefer my husband over all other, but sometimes i just like to watch a beautiful woman shake her ass. i don't want a relationship, i want to look at someone pretty.
WOW, you are a seriously closed minded person. I am a stripper and I am not a bitch who is hard up for money,or on drugs. I do not and will never consider it stooping to any sort of low level, or disrespecting myself. I have an education and a plethora of other options available for employment, but I choose to dance. I have done so for 3 years and will do so until I can no longer capatilize on my looks. The only explanation I can come up with for the reason all the strippers you know and the ones they know fit your narrow description, is that those are they type of people you are friends with, regardless of job. Once again I am a dancer and obviously I know other dancers and while there are SOME that fit the stereotypes, it is FEW.
Wow ,don't we like passing judgment ? I've known a lot of strippers and most of them are pretty good people yes you get the occasional druggie who does it for the money. But did it ever occur to you that some of them strip because it's a turn on?maybe before you pass judgment you should go into a strip club and ask why they do it you may be surprised at some of the answers you get........as a matter of fact I think I'll go tonight and do some research myself, after all strippers have to by Christmas presents to lol peace and love and i wish you all good table dances haha
*shrugs* strip clubs are in business because people like looking at other people, particularly other attractive people, and most espeically other attractive people who are acting in a sexual manner. why do you think men watch women dance at bars and such all the time? you just get to see more at strip clubs (admittedly for a higher price) and generally more talented dancers there as well. i think that the main thing that makes stripping "degrading" to some, well, ok 2 things. first off, those who do it because they feel they have no other options left to them. and second, teh stigma that we attach to it. society says "ew dirty bad nasty slutty!" and most of us go along with that. who the fuck cares if a women can use her sexual appeal to earn her some money? if shes ok with it and not getting hurt, its none of our fucking business to tell her what to do
I'm with ya all the way, bro! between the two of us, we've met enough strippers to know there are a thousand different reasons to do it. And I do think it is mostly about social stigmas. The riteous people in society have decided that it's "dirty" and wrong, and degrading. But there are plenty of other jobs out there.... don't you think that if a woman truly felt her job was that detrimentally degrading to her, she'd quit?? I mean, we do in anyother job market. Work in a gas sation... the creeps who come in and hit on you, and oogle you... you don't like it? find another job! Why are the rest of us all so worried about wether or not a woman is being "degraded" by being a stripper?? Let her worry about how she feels in her own job. If you don't like the idea of a strip club... just don't bloody go there! Don't pull a bunch of crap and try to have the place shut down. Live and Let Live. Isn't that what we're supposed to be about to begin with?? I mean really... we don't allow mainstream society to tell us that we can't have a society in the woods, do we?? Ok.. So, I have ranted enough. I'm done.
They're doing their job, I guess. Working for a living. After all, we can each choose our way of earning a living.
I;ve had some really awesome times at strip clubs. I think a lot of strippers get a bad name for the really skanky ones. most are really nice people who are just using their sensuality to make some cash. I mean, I dont think its RIGHT necessarily, but i cant judge someone else.
True "strip tease" is an art. There is a big difference in erotic dancing and strip tease. Most of the time when dancers are refered to as strippers they are actually erotic dancers. I love strip tease! There is nothing more fun than dressing up in a sexy costume and slowly peeling away my clothes while bumping and grinding to the sensual beat of music and watching a man drool as he watches you. There is a misconseption that you have to have a near perfect body to be a great stripper.........its all about attitude. It's all about slowly teasing him until he can't stand it anymore. There's also the money! Men will just keep forking out the cash as long as you keep their attention. Many so called "feminist" see stripping as degrading to women. If I choose to use my sex appeal to make money...........I don't see it as being any different than modeling. Most men I know love getting a lap dance. It's not just something to do on stage or in a club................it's great forplay at home, and it makes me feel really sexy to do it.
I agree. And a word to all you feminists, I understand where you're coming from with the whole "degrading" issue, but chew on this: As a woman, I actually find it particularly empowering that I can convince my bf to pay me to strip for him occasionally. I mean, as his gf, I would totally do it for free, but once in a while, I demand money, just for fun. It feels like I have all the control, and I do.I control what comes off, and it only comes off once proper compensation has been recieved (No, I am not a whore and we have been in a stable, monogamous relationship for nearly a year and a half now, just in case anyone reading this is jumping to any false conclusions.)
I like em. Whats better than watching some chick you don't know take off her clothes and wiggle her ass at you. Yes they are necessary to my well being. They send me home horney and my little chick thinks it is because of her. I tell her it is because of her. It makes her happy. So stippers are a good thing they bring joy and happiness to all. Peace
I didn't realize there was such a dislike for strippers... Why do people find it degrading that people turn to stripping, some people like doing it, while others have to make money and do what they can to make it.. Who cares? How is it affecting your life, it's not... A really good friend of mine was a stripper for a while and she liked doing it, she enjoyed showing her boobs and men would give her money for it, she liked dancing and they are just sacks of fat bouncing around, we'd laugh about it.. She is a great person and I love her... There is nothing wrong with strippers nor do I find anything wrong with strip clubs period.. I do not at all find it even remotely degrading towards women, not at all... Back in the day women couldn't even wear skirts that went above their ankle...And now we have the sexual freedom to be sexual and if women want to be strippers good for them, it has no bearings on my life at all... And just as an aside, men are strippers too, people who said it was degrading to women, how do you feel about men strippers, do you find it degrading to them?
