bruce lee had belief that muscle mass was nothing if you couldn't stretch well. in fact, that's where most of his strength came from - he was able to stretch and have such an extreme range of flex flexibility is definitely important, sadly i don't stretch nearly as often as i should
I stretch erryday that I go to the gym, and occasionally when I don't. I suppose I should; I used to have this schedule going of stretching in the mornings but that quickly hit the fan once I started staying up later and barely having enough energy to get out of bed for school in the mornings..

3 cheers for yoga!!! i don't do it every day, it's a goal though. DEFINITELY makes the body feel good and more relaxed..good stuff
I am physically unable to touch my toes. Really, no amount of stretching can ever fix it, my back doesn't bend that way, it's the curve of my spine, not the muscles. So if by stretching, you mean reaching to touch your toes, no, I can't do that. But I always give my torso a good stretch, several times a day. And I'm on my feet all the time when I'm at work, so my legs get a good stretch as well. Just can't touch my toes.
its all a matter of training your brain to relax your muscles in order to stretch. i have a weird curve in my spine too but doing yoga strengthens the muscles around my spine which in turn provides my spine with better support. when i started doing yoga I went from not being able to touch my toes to being able to bend my head all the way to my knees and place my whole hands on the ground. it only took a couple of months to develop that kind of flexibility. yoga is amazzzing.
