I have a couple Strawberry Alarm Clock CD's here at my house...Well, I was listening to them today for the first time in maybe 2 or 3 years, and I must say that they have got to be one of the most under-rated bands from the '60's! I mean, my God, they had some awesome music, and beautiful melodies! "Incense and Pepperments" was a cool song, but they have many more songs that are so much better...very unique band...anybody else get this, too?

    Later,
    Ben.

I like them. Rainy Day Mushroom Pillow kicks ass. If you want to hear more of their music, try finding the movie Psych-Out.

Ooh, I have quite a few songs of theirs, my favourites would have to be "They saw the Fat One Coming" and "Curse of The Witches" but all their songs are awesome, I recommend them to anyone and everyone.

I'm absolutely in love with Strawberry Alarm Clock. They're my third favorite band of all time.

    Some of my favorites..

    "The World's on Fire"
    "Tomorrow"
    "Hummin' Happy"
    "Good Morning Starshine"
    "Love Me Again"
    "Pretty Song from Psych-Out"
    "Rainy Day Mushroom Pillow"
    "Sit with the Guru"
    "Black Butter"
And of course... "Incense and Peppermints" (it never gets old!)
    etc.

    I love them. They're great.

the first album is entirely good (incense and peppermints, sit with the guru, barefoot in baltimore,...) a psychedelic flower power classic. But check out this song from another album "the world's on fire",a great tune!

I've got some of their songs on my PC, I'm really digging the Black Butter trilogy and pretty much all of their songs... Heh, SAC were the first band I listened to while high on Zombiegrass... It was fucking great I tells you :D

Now weed just doesn't have the same effect on me as it used to...so now I find that SAC doesn't sound as good hahaha

And if it dies, you'll hear the cries... and know the meaning of.... Black Butter -crazy sitar bit- ^______________^

It's a cosmic out-of-control- recording!.Admittedly it's inspired by: 'Light My Fire' but doesn't make it any less a blues blaster in its own right.
Some many of SAC's album tracks are melodically mesmerizing with utterly superb psych-blues guitar & keyboards.
