Strangest pet you have owned?

I had a pet sheep named Thatcher, or Maggie for short. She was as round as she was tall. She'd run up to my car when I got home, and bah for food. She was very spoilt, and very chubby.

We eventually gave her to a farm that only uses sheep for wool, so she could chill with other Sheep, and jump over bedposts.

 

it would have to be my pet rat that I used to have named cricket.... she was so cool.

 

I once had a salamander who lived with me for a few months when I was 14. I caught him in my parents' crawl-space(all dirt) in the basement in the fall. I released him(her?Who can tell with a salamander??!) in the spring into the garden where the dirt was all wet and warm.
As of right now i dwell with three ferrets, a dog, a cat, five bettas(don't ask ) and a rose hair tarantula named Trinity.

i had a fish that committed suicide, he jumped out of the fish tank while we were cleaning the tank, it then went under the shelf we kept the tank on and died, we couldnt figure out where it went to so we thought the other fish might have eaten it, but sure enough 3 weeks later...wow that fish stunk

 

Shark ( a long time a go ) or pet skunk ( have now )

 

I am curious. You are the second person to mention a shark as a part of your family. I am wondering are you talking about an actual shark or the mini tropical sharks that are sold in just about any pet store.

i had a nile monitor visious things they r but mine was cool i bought it for my mom cuz when we went to the reptile show she was holding it and the guy said he had never seen a nile monitor so calm in someones hands that thing was a bitch to everyone but my mom she cud reach into its cage and grab it when it got bigger it lived in a dog cage with water,a branch, and a bed the cage door was always open it just walked around her house he was sweet as hell the way he walked was like a strut he was definetly full of himself lol

 

Dalamar, yea it was a real shark im not 100% sure on what type ot was any more it looked like a black tip shark but it was a lot smaller then 6 feet maybe around 1.5 to 2 feet ?.

his name was murray. he was a cutie

 

My fish jumped out of the tank too.....he is still alive though.

My husband has 2 scorpions, they don't do much......they like waving on the glass though.

 

there was this funky fungus growing at the corner of my big toe nail on my right foot

actually i haven't owned strange animals, the strangest i think maybe the tortoise.but tortoise strange?i am not sure .the most animal i have owned is cat!

 

I catch a preying mantis about every year so I can feed it bugs.
