Strange Perverted Movie

I am trying to remember this movie that I saw parts of many years ago. It involves a woman with either her young Brother, Nephew or Cousin. The boy is probably between 7-10. The movie is set in the 40's or 50's. THere were multiple scenes that involved the boy seeing the woman in the nude. One scene in particular where he is in bed with the woman, and he ends up with his face between her legs. Does anyone remembef this movie?

 

European movies touch upon incest a bit, but I don't recall seeing any with such a young child. In fact the only one I can recall seeing was Murmur of the Heart, which I think won awards in Cannes. That involved a mother and son. Not erotic, heartwarming more like it.

No, I do not think this was the movie. I seem to also recall another scene in the movie where the woman and the boy are on a beach, and she goes into one of those old change rooms. The boy goes inside with her, and watches her change into her swim suit.

 

I think the movie you are thinking about is an Italian movie called Malena, but I could be wrong.

This story is a coming of age movie about a 13 year old boy that fantasises about a beautiful war widow who live in the village.

Just watched the Booke Sheilds special that was very interesting to look back on it. She says she was fully nude at only 11 years old in one movie. I remember most of it like it was yesterday. The spin they put onto it all was also interesting!

It was actually a very moving and sad story, getting several nominations. During the west end run, people were leaving the theatre in tears. The action was mainly conversations sitting on the beach. This added to the invoked feelings of the audience.

Yes, another film that I did a lot of the post production and UK opening. I don't think that it passed the censors in Ireland.
