Strange Meats

    i had venison also but i never considered it a strange meat being everyone around here hunts for deer.

    Cougar meat...

    no, I didn't kill the cougar, it was given to me by a hunter.

    I didn't like it and neither did my cats lol

    I have eaten moose.

    I loved it..very flavorful meat.

    I'm still waiting for the day I see the moose, though. I've ingested moose but have yet to become friends with one.

    Two things I've had and not seen mentioned are mud bugs and buffslo/bison.

    deer, octopus, wild hog, frog, quail, pheasant, rabbit, liver, heart, chicken gizzards, squid, shark, buffalo, pigs feet

    nothing i hated, and would like to keep trying more stuff!

    I guess it depends what you consider "strange"

    I eat squid, octopus, sea urchin, eel...I've had shark before but don't eat it with any regularity. The strangest meat I've eaten is probably some mystery meat from like Taco Bell or something

    I've ate crocodile, ostrich and... something else at a south African resteraunt that was unusual but I can't remember. The place was called Hippo Creek.

    Oh okay I just tried to look at the menu and it's closed down. Umm grr what was it... It was red meat, maybe a buffalo or an antelope or something.

  19. My Dad and Brother ate sheep's balls in a restaurant whilst on holiday in Queenscliffe.
    Disgusting.
    I reckon i had the dick of some animal.
