You remember Happy? He is living in Spokane.Him and I hooked up for around 13 years and finally had to give it up.We still remain great friends though. Buz and Lyn live in Davenport ,Wa. near Spokane. There are quite a few people in Texas. Please write me more about you.Go to facebook and search for me there.Name is Connie Greer.I will O.K. you as a friend..Good to hear from you,Connie
Hey Connie, hey Ritchie,,, well Ritch, . I actually was hanging with Ron Kelley before it all really hit for me ( left turn!). Weird, we were trying to get to the gathering in Montana 76, he made it, I didnt. He took a vow of silence and after I left Tucson, we ran into each other in Austin 77. He wouldnt talk. He passed a few yr's back, but he went well! He was livin in Boulder and just went while in the store shopping, or so I was told. Ol Buzz wants a phone # or email address for ya.I am gonna go see to my other messages, see if any one else wrote back on your appearance!! Love Lights Shinin All Around
as soon as I can figure out how to go private, I will pass out (information that is). So B.B.Bizarre is still on with Lynn, cool. still searchin'...and Connie, I haven't seen Happy since 74 or so in Austin...while me an' Midget Jesse(with us or not?) were living in the caves... PS: don't let M.J. piss down yer neck....
there is a guy who watches this thread, he wants to know where certain people are, I dont trust him, he makes threats.Even though he is banned from this site, he can still read this stuff. We still have caves in Austin.
I know who your talking about.. SP.. No he can not be trusted.. he came in here looking for STP folks claiming that he was a fed and they dosed him 30+ yrs ago and he ended up in the phyche ward for many yrs.. I banned him for life... caution with this one. sh
wow ShamelessH, he actually copped to bein that dude.Damn. I havent gotten one of his nasty lil emails in awhile now,, earlier this yr maybe, I save them.It sure makes it hard to connect here when ya gotta wait so long to be able to pm. Cant Skip make an exception on this one? There are many just a waiten to get up with ya IR. SH, thanks for all you do! Lovin YOU!
also,, ,,, this SP was goin by safety pin,,,lol,,,! Safety Pin,, what a name to come up with!! He found me somewhere runnin my mouth, and thats actually how I ended up coming back to hip! I had joined back in 2000 in the summer, I was in Arkansas, but some guy was bad rappin all the sisters, so I left this site. It has much improved since 2000. He was goin by guyedueet or something after gettin kicked off as SP. SH is right though we must be careful here. Lovins to all!~* ((()))
M.Jessie might be an A.hole but I love him anyway. That he's still pumping blood does surprise me a little though. Any word on Slim, Chipper? Hell I don't even know where I left Grubbs after we parted in 88' Someone told me they saw him on the west side of this town and changed his name to "Toejam". But I'm sure he was probably goofin' on em'. Tell Buzzard I was in Spokane right after I left Missoula, but nobody could tell me where he was. Heard he opened a cab company? As about Dale, he's from Ohio not K.C. though he might have gone there. His ol' lady was Nancy back in 71-?', had baby Jessica in Berkeley. He moved to Kentucky, and raised horses for awhile. I miss and worry about him though, likes to fight, never backs down, an has the holes in 'im to prove it, got some of mine with him. Charlie B.B., 'Skrat or anyone else(who's left) ,might have word. I am real sorry about Ron K. he also meant a lot to me.Tom always looked like death warmed over, and we always figured he'd beat it, A.H Dave, I always thought he was too tough to die.I can keep going but it gets too much like running off some list, suffice it to say that we'll try to cover all in the near future, and alot will be missed. But man this reconnecting is becoming somewhat of a heart breaker . But you know? There are some far out stories to tell, normal people would probably think we were making them up, but we know better...maybe a novel...change the names to protect the guilty huh? Love all, the"Itch".
Richie, You may remember me. We shared a few bottles of 151 in a place with cardboard milk cartons for pi**ing and KFC boxes to s**t in. We drank the rum out a shot glass we kept in a discarded cash register drawer. Any of this stuff ring a bell? Think Winterland.--- CJ
hey cjxxx, is that you..hey , yeah i'll say we did. (that is you c.jacks right?) remember wally, and popcorn and the trip to N.O.. If that is you there's some stories huh...and it was Gordons gin...
Fell street sounds familiar, but I'm not sure ....C.Jacks and I lived in a 3 story abandoned house across the street from winterland, is that near Fell street?. That is a long story that will be reminisced in private though....
Yea,that's me. We need to get in contact offline. I got lots to talk about. I always wondered about you. Figured you ended up in Flarida somewhere. You were always talking about the place. You still draw cartoons?---CJ
When I first read your post I couldn't think of who Wally was but then it hit me. Wally was your pup,right?---CJ
everybody gave him another name with "W" in it, by the time we got to N.O. he was Wally the witless-waffleeating- wandering-wwwwww o and on. Remember we used to sit in front of Tads on Powell street and give them 1 bone to fight over, all the little old ladies would give us $ to feed them, they ate better than they did though.....I don't remember the cash register? I remember all the Ranier ale bottles filled with p. all around though, I gave one to A.H. Dave thinking it was beer, that didn't go down well, he was retching and cursing me out, life was fun back then...remember the black m.c. group next door? The Safari riders with the full dress hogs with lion, zebra and leopard skins all over. They didn't know what to make of us...we got along though didn't we? that was a block or two down from the corner of Fillmore and Post, by the Black and White Liquor store...By the way, I did go back to Florida for awhile, and ended up in traction for a month and a half. I got hit by a car in Gainesville, Cheryl (remember Spooky and Cheryl), got hit the next day, and the day after that Greek Mary got her foot run over. I had 'Skrat and Spooky and Mary, and Phunky Phil bringing me wine everyday. Muskrat fell into the weights on my leg and damn near tore my leg off.I used to order up five or six lunches for everyone and the hospital never said a word. Like I said,"life was fun back then"....I ended up in a half body cast for the rest of the summer, living in an old house near the edge of town with Governor, Kay, Critter and Judy, all taking turns hauling me around panhandling, tr ding in CoCa cola case boxes for refund,(we were getting them from around back through a hole in the fence) and drinking gallons of mushroom tea, I get rushes just thinking about it...
I don't remember the Safari riders but I do remember hangin out downtown Frisco outside the steak house. The ladies love puppies. Always good for spare change. That place we had had two beds. I think mine was a fold out couch. Between them on the floor was the cash register drawer we kept the shot glass it. In the next room was a bathtub full of s**t. A bunch of the family came to Winterland one day and we went back to the house. There was a piece of plywood I think over the front door.We pried it up to get in. Well someone,I forget who, left it in the street and we got raided. It's funny how the memory works.I'm not sure how much is right and alot of stuff is just a blank. I remember drinkin gin and running the streets in Berzerkely with you and Dale.We even started a riot one Saturday afternoon. I remember listening to Led Zeppelin 4 for the first time in some guys apartment .He had hard cider. You were there. Yea, good days. We always had fun. There's still a bunch of us left.Scattered around and mostly livin in houses.Just about everyone is sober these days. Those that didn't quit died. I spoke to MJ recently. He's fine.John Bowery told me to say howdy if I got in contact with you.---CJ
Times sure do change 'eh brother. We go from STP to AARP. That's it the AARP family, and to think most of us were toothless back then! With all of the excitement I've been experiencing lately getting back in touch, I've totally blown the most important question, and that is ...How are you doing brother? I mean we can go on with the stories later, are you doing okay? Connie too, how are you sister? and everybody else. I have been getting enough bad news about those who are gone now. Now give me some good news. I'm sorry I missed the reunions. But I kinda secluded myself here for awhile raising my son. I've been clean and sober for seventeen years now. Ever since my kids first birthday, my wife and I decided to raise him in a drug and drunk free atmosphere. Now I got doctors giving me legal stuff I had to hustle hard for back then. You know I give up drugs, smoking, and booze and now they want me on a lettuce and sprouts diet....to hell with that. I 'm sure glad I don't smoke anymore, who would have thunk a pack of cigarettes would cost almost as much as a twelve pack? Remember when you, John B. and me would go to that new comic book store next to Hardcastles, they trusted us with stacks of comics every night when we'd go home to the brown house in Oakland, reading them by candlelight drinking gin? We didn't do too bad..I can't wait to go offline....
