I can't really stand southpark anymore either, they've been making whole episodes out of the shittiest ideas.

 

At least the show is always relevant to current events and depicts things in a very unique manner.

Yeah, i see the appeal of family guy to stupid people... However, i still watch it, because even though most of it is not very funny to me myself, some of it which is hurts from the lulz, and in general, its just entertaining. Honestly, i watch it for Stew and Brian.

King of the Hill i never managed to get into (childhood involved The Simpsons).

However, in general, South Park is god of all adult humor.

Simpons (early-mid seasons)
South Park
Futurama
American Dad
King of the hill
Simpsons (newer seasons)
Family Guy (gih I cant stand the cut aways)

 

Family Guy will always have a place in my heart.. I love retarded humor like that..

I used to not like KOTH but the bf got me watching it and now we watch it every night haha.

 

I LOVE KING OF THE HILL.
We don't get the channel it plays on anymore, but it was one of my favorites.


As for Family Guy and the like shows, I used to like Family Guy until the comedic trend became apparent to me....the use of anecdotes was wayyyyy over done, as well.
Watching an episode you've never seen before, you could pick out exactly what was going to happen next...Brian or someone says "Like that time Peter......" (skip to irrelevant scene), and people always randomly collapse with their limbs mangled and such.

I've seen only one episode of South Park, the World of Warcraft one.
It was pretty good, but I never got into it.


But seriously, I could never get enough King of the Hill.
Futurama is cool too, some little bits of simple simple humor just crack me up.
KOTH and Futurama both provide those moments.

 

i love futurama as well, im glad they started making those movies but it'd be nice if the show came back

 

I cannot watch even 2 minutes of Futurama without changing the channel.
Never liked that show for some reason.

 

I would just like to say again I don't like Family Guy and will never watch another .2 nanosecond again.

Totally. I cannot believe I forgot to mention Futurama.

I think The Simpson's started going downhill when Futurama came out because a lot of writers left The Simpson's for Futurama.

 

But you like Family Guy

 

Haha yaa.. I dunno I guess I'm weird with tv shows I guess.

On another note, my dad told me it makes him physically sick to watch Family Guy haha

 

I would just like to add:

It seems liking Family Guy is a trend that started when it was taken off the air. Pseudo intellectuals latched onto it, then when it became mainstream those same people latched onto yet another show taken off the air- Futurama.

King of the Hill is next on that list.

 

It seems adults can tell real humor from 30 minutes of gags.

 

i hope they dont ruin futurama and king of the hill...those are probably my 2 favorite cartoons

i have all the seasons of futurama on my computer and im working on getting seasons of king of the hil but theirs like 12 so im just getting them slow
