CAT pronounced by spelling out the letters c a t (emphasis on the a). Sounds exotic but when someone asks you how to spell that name you just say C a t.

    This also works with dog.

my friends cat was named Chronic, except when his kids came over then she was called Sunshine (or some shit). She got mauled by the neighbor dog and lost a leg, after that she was also called Tripod.

i had a pair of cats, bro and sis. when I adopted them they were already 5, been together since litter-mates and couldn't stand to change their names.
    Bob and Ruka.
Bob was always my favorite name for a cat thats just plain fucked in the noggin, he wasn't the first Bob the cat i've met.
theres a picture of them in my albums, i bet you can tell just which one is Bob just from looking.

They usually name themselves right around that 1 year mark... and then again at around 4-5 years. At some point after that...

well, I have a cat named techno living with me right now..
he's my 1 1/2 yr old daughters cat and named after a game she loves

there's a similar game and the cat is named Nyan so I was thinking about going with that..

    (Techno & Nyan)

or I thought maybe a stoner name would be fun to use...so then this thread was born

Also, there is just prospect of a new kitten. I didn't get her yet. I'm always wanting cats though. It seems I am always one more step closer into the direction of crazy cat lady...

Bastet is the name commonly used by scholars today to refer to a feline goddess of ancient Egyptian religion who was worshipped at least since the Second Dynasty. Her name is also spelled Bast, Baast, Ubasti and Baset.

Lol we used to have a dog named dog spelt out... d O g... everyone thought it was the coolest name and would be like "i've never heard a name like that before, how do you spell it?" :D

    "his names d o g... you spell it like, d o g..." derpa derpp

but when you say it all together quick, with emphasis on the O like you said, it sounds pretty cool lol
