There was a thread of this before the update and I am keen to renew it. I'm going but may have to hitch-hike as am without transport of my own. Does anyone know the nearest train station to Stonehenge?

    Is stonehenge still fenced off?

WHen I was there in 2000 it was :(

A shame but it was still really amazing to see it.

    Breathtaking really.

It is still fenced off beacuse of vandals and the like, and people chipping parts of and selling them as tourist gifs. But on special occasions such as the summer solstice they let you inside, party!

The nearest train station to Stonehenge is Salisbury, if I'm right.

Castle Cary is the closest one to Glastonbury.
