If I am remembering right the last time I went to the theater was to see Hunger Games: Mockingjay Pt.1, so not as long ago as I thought.

My dad took us to see waterworld. I remember I had a very bad cold and kept sniffling and didn't want to be noisy. Dad said it was a hopeless movie. Lol. I don't ever remember seeing a movie he actually enjoyed.

This afternoon when I was feeding the rabbits I came inside and my miss asks me if I'd seen any more rats and I said yeah I see a big dirty rat right here. :D speaking of the indoor bunny, but she thought I was talking about her. :tearsofjoy: so she gets all upset and I'm like :hushed: wtf is she on about. Then I realised lol. And I said no, not you.. The rabbit. :tearsofjoy:

Last movie I saw in theatres was Coco. I used to go weekly ,sometimes twice to the theatre. After theatre shooting trend, sad to say,but ruined the appeal to me. I don't feel safe.

That's a shame. A good flick in the theater is a time honored tradition. Don't you miss when you see a particularly moving or thoughtful film that resonated with you and you stroll outside into the fresh air, go to your car and just let the poignant moments wash over you and replay them in your mind?

Don't let a couple assholes take that away from you.

Eh, maybe cuz I'm older also idk.. I don't like crowds or people that talk during movies. I would rather watch a movie on Netflix or even go see the free movies in the park on a projector.

Better yet,I need to get my own projector

Yeah i've only been once since the Aurora shooting.

But i never cared for going to the movies anyways. I'm too neurotic. I have misophonia and people chew popcorn too goddamn loud . Unless its an empty matinee movies are basically torture to me

I lived 3 blocks from the theater in Aurora, and I'd 'just' left Colorado when it happened. like the week before.

I hear you (LOL) with the misophonia. It's really difficult to tune certain crap out and I want to break things. More so than usual, anyway.

While it's fun and all to have multiple national citizenships I tell you what's not fun.. Having a bank account in 3 countries and trying to consolidate my loans into one new loan. My gawd. Then speak to foreign people who can't speak Deutsch and neither of us can understand each other's English.

I think I did okay though. Should all be sorted now. :)

    Frustrating though.

Hearing USA will be hosting the 2026 soccer world cup. Now they don't need to worry about qualifying. :tearsofjoy:
