Word. There are a host of classes out there that speak volumes about our society. One of my favorites is called Wasting Time On The Internet, offered by the University Of Pennsylvania. From the course description:

"Using our laptops and a wifi connection as our only materials, this class will focus on the alchemical recuperation of aimless surfing into substantial works of literature. Students will be required to stare at the screen for three hours, only interacting through chat rooms, bots, social media and listservs."

SC ranks 10th highest in the nation for percentage of the population with diabetes. So, y'all can rest assured most of us LOVE our pie. If I'm going to top apple pie with ice cream it must be warm (to hot) pie and vanilla ice cream...but I haven't had any in about 6 months. My very favorite "pie" is blackberry cobbler swimming with juice and vanilla ice cream on the side. lol

Today I took cats to the traveling vet for the feline leukemia booster. Come to find out my precious Princess of the World did not need anything since she got everything she needed last year for 3 years. She was so sweet and never even let out one meow. It was almost like she knew she wasn't going to get stuck.

On the other hand...

Gimli-Benny screamed the whole way there about as loud as a siren...about 6 to 7 miles. He got both rabies and fel leuk shots that are good for 3 yrs. He wasn't due his rabies shot until August (according to their records) but the vet tech and the vet (who is wonderful) told me it wouldn't hurt him to get the rabies early or to get it for 3 yrs, even with it being somewhat early. He was due for his leukemia booster, so I was glad to get it done for 3 yrs. So here is a pic of my sweetie-pie snake catcher resting....

I like schnitzel and KFC chicken lol. I don't do drumsticks much or wings.. But chicken mince in a pie sounds nasty.

 

Guys at work hid the radio on me.
I got a little irritated

I hid the computer mouse on them.
They got irate and threatened discipline on me.

It was just as much fun seeing them getting irate......as to playing hot/cold with them having to find it.

 

My tax dollars go to paying for schools and education when I don't have any kids. I'm such a sorry bastard... lol. Just messin' big E!

 

I went to work yesterday and my sticky tape dispenser had disappeared, and I'm pretty pissed off about it lol.

 

Definitely going to have to make an example of someone.

Go away for a week and someone knocks off your sticky tape, that's just not on.

 

Yep, your tax dollars paying for that too bro. Not as much though, which is kind of sad.

 

It'd be cool if you could select where your tax goes but then things would miss out. Parents would go education I guess. Me, I dunno. It's not a tax thing but the pool tables at the club could do with some new felt. Priorities ya know.

 

I'd be great not seeing education/schools taxation on my property tax bill. Send my portion to the parents with kids.

The US and UK versions sound drastically different. Never heard of mushrooms in what we call Chicken Pot Pie. But I agree: Irm is missing out!
