Stoned Ramblings

I did it guys! I finally had my breakthrough in pool. I practice well before going out, I shot really well in my warm up game I went to my captain and our best player had to work so he wasn't there (that happens with day matches) and I said look, give me his spot, I want to play their best I can feel I'm on today.

So he put me in. I beat their first player, their best, convincingly. Right this is the best start I've had for months. Next game I beat their second best and completely outplayed him to the point he missed easy shots I had him rattled.

3rd game I lost, but I did everything right he had two of his balls covering the 8 Ball, the only way I would have won was to sink my ball and canon the white straight into it. So I put a classy stun shot on the cue ball. My ball sank in the cue ball then did exact what I wanted it to. It headed straight for the cluster, broke all balls out I'm looking at a dead straight shot on the 8. But, unlucky, when I broke the cluster the 8 hit his ball and it found a pocket. Even though I sank my ball first, that's not European rules. American rules I'd have had another shot but sinking an opponent ball even if I sink mine first that's a foul and I never saw another shot.

But I'm not upset at that I did everything right it was just luck of the angles on the breakout and I nailed that breakout. Best I've played in 3 or 4 Months but not really, let's just sayz finally for once the stars aligned for me which is what I've been waiting for.

I'm that relieved... Like so fucking happy right now. So I'm have a few drinks now, I just ordered a buffo wing burger?? Has to be good. I might even end up at the strippers by early evening.

 

Like I was depressed these last few weeks in my practice I look in the mirror my eyes look tired as I said to myself, Jocelyn, you aren't in the right mind, just do what you do best. You love shooting the balls in I tell myself, don't get in a strategy game, just have fun, sink those ball. And that's what I did. I got focussed, I took the annihilate supplement drink for energy and focus about 6hrs before and that shit is potent as, so I was dialled up and ready. And I just did what I told myself, I don't need a strategy game if I just sink all the balls before he does.

 

Life. Everything. It's all about the angles really.

 

Is this like when I think I'm about to take a sip of Coke but it turns out to be iced tea and I gag, but afterwards I'm like, "Oh, this is perfectly good iced tea"?

 

Milk mistaken for orange juice is one of the worst to me.

Kite Runner was decent. I just finished reading Stephen King's Dark Tower series. Pretty good fantasy/sci-fi.

I've been using a combination of edibles and smoking/vaping lately. Small dose of edibles and then I just do smaller amounts from the pipe when needed.

I liked a Thousand Splendid Suns better than the Kite Runner actually, but his third book (the name isnt coming to me at the moment) was mediocre

I dont like the name Carl. My very first boyfriend's name was Carl but i haaaated his name lol, it bothered me

We're actually still friends, basically life long friends at this point and i still hate his name

 

Carl sounds german to me.
