Our race is on this Saturday.
Not sure how I'll do I don't particularly like qualifying in road courses so I'm not sure if I'll try. I probably will, but I don't want to be in thick of it and it's a very tricky turn one and belting down the hill with 30 other idiots is stressful for me. But road racing is European racing, so the field will be up for it. See that's why I'm so good at the ovals, I get the ovals, I understand the physics and things. Other guys can run the hell out of a 15 turn road course and then come to an oval and flat out suck, and that's where I don't suck lol.

But I'm getting better my team practice went well I was actually quickest out of the 6 of us at the end and after 2hrs the track was getting greasy so for me to bang out a lap with 5mins to go meant I learned a lot.

All I know is I just need to survive. No mistake just like my last 3 road races. I might finish 3 laps off the pace but if I don't make mistakes then I'll finish better than where I started. So now really I need to go out and do a full fuel and tyre run and see what I'm getting then work out my strategy backwards. Its a 90 lap race. So I'll be wanting to stop on laps 30/60 but if I'm out of control after 20 laps which is more than likely then it'll be maybe 20/40/60/80. Or I take it real slow and make it 30/60. But ten laps left is 2 extra stops, and two extra stops is going to be 1minute or more, whereas if I slow down 2 seconds lap to save my rubber, will that be less time overall? All about tyre conservation this one. No point being quick over 5 laps when I've got 90 to do hehe. So stretch the tyre life, come in for fresh boots.

But I'll figure that out closer to the race date.

 

We had salmon for dinner. With Swiss Chard, Sweet Taters and Broccoli. I'm stoned, so my system wishes to compensate. Maybe a Butterfinger!

 

I watched an old EXCELLENT movie starring one of my very favorite actors, Dwayne Johnson/The Rock - The Rundown. Seann William Scott is a dollbaby too. lol But anyway, it was nice...I very rarely watch movies.

I was watching it with my friend so I managed not to stand up and sit down but maybe once. I took to squeezing his leg or arm. lol

 

My notification thing works weird...sometimes I'm notified if my name is mentioned, sometimes not...sometimes it lets me know if a watched thread is posted in and sometimes not...

it must be according to what mood it is in.
