I've heard you mention that hat enough to know what it means to you.
Some things it's not just about "oh well i'll get another one"
and it's just RUDE. Seriously I hate theft. People steal things and never stop to think about how it'll make the person feel. it's rude and violating and pisses me off.

 

@Irminsul I'm sorry about your hat seriously I understand how much it meant to you and to think you just showed it to us that is so f***** up where was it taken from? Video cameras in the area?

so I guess someone with a camera at some drag club where actor/ transperson did a abortion routine.. roor, its all over the fakebook as why is this allowed ??
first Id expect a few my friends to have bigger brains but getting smacked in the head with chairs while being a wrestler for the wwe has its effects ...
Its the oldest routine in the book, but just now people are getting photos and video in drag clubs or clubs that host it. The club I go to cameras are prohibited except in the public social area. And how is the routine different than Alien ..

 

Welp that's a wrap...

 

Still pretty cut up about my hat. We've ordered a new one slightly smaller so I don't need the hat inserts. I also got a hat stand stretcher just in case. At the end of the day it's just a hat and is readily replaced, but it just was more than a hat to me. It was literally my identity for 2 years. Everybody knew my hat and loved my hat. It was the one thing if I wasn't wearing "hey you didn't wear your hat tonight".

The rest of the night was soured but I tried to have fun. I ended up with a colorful rainbow wig. It's just everywhere I went I felt empty without my hat. I felt like I lost a lot of confidence without it. It was almost like a cloak you know, a safe spot underneath it. I hope the new one comes this week.

 

Was in a pool hall, yeah there'd be cameras actually but it's done and dusted. If somebody has been wearing it I don't want it back. The only people who got to wear it were honoured, not some random. I doubt they'd have respected it anyway. I left my name and number in case it was found there. It's just young punks.

 

Weir'd.. the stuck inside Memphis blues is pretty cool.

 

I had a hat that I made, you can barely make it out in my avatar... Black leather hat, celtic knotwork brooch on the front, crow feathers at the side. I had never made a hat before this one, I made it on a full moon while at the leather shop. Wore that hat everywhere for 10 years until the house fire decided to turn it into cinders.

The one I have now is a cheap replacement because I can't re-create what I once had... People still like my "new hat". I get the "Wow, great hat, man" all the time. I say "Thanks" knowing full well it's crap in comparison. But it is a "cool hat" and I was able to salvage that knotwork brooch off the original.

 

I worked with a stagehand who wore the same hat for well over a decade it was kind of a beret Style but big like maybe what a Rasta dude would wear and it was all worn out and looked absolutely disgusting but this f****** guy would never stop wearing this damn hat the boss has made him take it off during shows
I myself have several hats my favourite was my Tilley hat that I also lost in my fire it belonged to my dad..... it's getting winter so I will be wearing toques most of the time or I have a Newsboy cap that I like

I noticed your hat a long time ago when studying your avatar. I like that got to make it yourself that would be extra meaningful. I hadn't even considered that. I might watch a YouTube video. that's a devastating story. I don't think sometimes we realise how important things really are until they're gone a house fire would lose everything.

I only had my hat for almost 2 years I think but I couldn't tell you a day I never wore it, or why I wouldn't have.

I just literally balled out crying on my wife lap. First it was just a frustration and anger, drunk and emotions. Now it's just a somber feeling of emptiness. It's all my memories over 2 years too. I had planned to buy another hat that I could keep a bit more presentable for nice occasions but it was wearing so good too I mean it was really getting a rustic look and that look was who I was.

Moving forward I will just have to create new memories in my new hat and never ever turn my eye away from it. Maybe I can put in my address and phone number too if someone wants to return it, Or put a loop in I can hang on my belt when I'm not wearing it so it stays on my side.

Earlier today I was doing some studying and my brain was hurting. As I more realize this isnt a joke and Ive to study terms and go over check lists again and again. I dont have an airplane I can just walk to. Not like getting in the car. So Ive to do little things for proficiency in just the basic things like calls and where we going, heading.. Tho Im not an instrument pilot. I tend to be on the dials. I get bitched at for that from Helicopter because he's got it. Fly the aircraft now watch dials later. Just listen. Some the wild maneuvers in the helicopter just doing them from feel, there is no watching the throttle or rpm (once upon a time those things were not even part of the helicopter) the pilot had to feel it. After a while you just get to know where the throttle should be going this speed.. I can say rider lawnmower is harder than a helicopter.
