Guy had it listed in the wrong section on ebay... This is not a vintage tube tape deck. Nobody else knew it was there or it would have already sold. Much of this guys other items are "tape deck" or other vintage tube amp/hifi related stuff, so the guy is legit. Just this item was in the wrong section to be seen by "Stoner Rock guitar guys" who would have gone nutz over this thing.... (self>mirror)


Guy tested it on a variac at 80 volts, Youtube of it working. It is totally original and un-molested. (except for the orange three prong cord) Thing is in "very good" condition for it's age. Damned thing is really clean....

It will need new capacitors, due to it's age, before I put it into heavy usage but an original functioning unit from 1968 at a very reasonable price... Yeah, I had to snag it.


Now... Should I be the first to modify the shit out of this thing, or not? Hmmmm
