Poor kids are going to be getting soaked to the bone tonight if they go trick or treating Halloween when it's raining sucks

 

It's going to rain here too. Not just rain actually, we're going to have severe thunderstorms so it wont be safe to be outside

It's been raining here... Looks like it's going to continue to rain until it freezes and turns to snow.

Just what I need is another ice storm like last year... Fuck.

 

I'm alright darlin' - esconsced in my riser/recliner armchair, right beside a large radiator with a mug of (special **) coffee on the table beside me.

We have a snowfall warning , starting this evening. 15-30cm.

I'm not a fan of chit chat but I obviously I can do it at work with customers but sometimes I find myself listening to an incredibly detailed description of what each of some strangers grandchildren are doing, and it's so hard not to cut them off with "I don't CARE"

Id rather not get the aircraft maintenance apprentices job .. yeah Id really really dont want to do that. (meli magic).. Its all good. I already have my foot in door. Wont be till after the restaurant opens up full time. right now its in test flight. Its launch is Italian, taking reservations before opens, already booked so its looks pretty positive.. And then the regional airport take on new shape over the fall and winter.. With new jet clients, as well the fixed wing tours ..hours estimated 15+hrs a week 15$hr to start. this is part time, there are only so many airplanes to work on at once. Ill be assisting in the repairs and general maintenance while gaining credits towards mechanic certs. Sadly this isnt the airport I fly the helicopter from. Tho, Ive been talking to the instructors here to grow with some helicopters. But the cost, and clients. Would literally need to have helicopters donated for the youth flight academy. As well need more pilots. Its much easier when ya already have a fleet of airplanes and can be taken in and out of service without losing flight time for clients. Funny enough I wont drive 20mins for the railroad job, but Ill drive 35min to this ... Well, who wants to sit on the ground all the time..With all that Ill be working towards my private to ratings in the helicopter, fixed/cesenna, to certs with repairs, and then if Im lucky still living - commercial all this does not happen overnight. Will take years to accomplish. the ratings dont work backwards they move forward so every hour "counts".

 

I am sooo happy to stop work for the year : ) I've never kept one job for five years before and it's only this five month break that allows me to not move on from this one too. It's so fun working in here but now I'm totally ready to just not.
