I read it as a twist word to pallbearer and linked it with the word died.... hence be a joke.

I've discovered I'm much less socially awkward at Halloween parties. The other night at the party I went to, I talked to an alien for a while about how her journey went and how she was liking earth so far, I talked to Mario about how he could just start jumping off of people's heads and off of trees, I talked to Hopper about if he's gotten out of the upside down world yet
It was much less painful than tedious small talk about work and whatever other boring things people usually talk about with strangers at parties

 

How one house can have so much traffic on a Sunday morning and not going to church.. It is the 27th so grandmas check is probably going to drop and the heroin addict grand kids are there to rip her off. Like clockwork.

 

What I want to know is who decided/discovered which signs mean what traits. And how. You'd have to do a separate personality test and cross reference it all with birth dates or something? Where did that stuff all come from?

My theory is that the characteristics likely came from stories made about each constellation of the zodiac as well as the general mood of that time of the year

Like my sign for example, scorpio..we're known for being private, mercurial and dark, sexual.
And if you think about it in perspective of ancient people..scorpio season occurs right after the fall harvest when people withdrew after a period of hard work and social celebration, people spent more time indoors with their romantic partners rather than outside with their neighbors, the days start to get shorter which can affect people's moods and make them feel a little moodier and darker

 

This American Life is kind of scary this week for Halloween I just learned that if you discover a bat in a room with a sleeping person they have to immediately be tested for rabies both the bat and the person because bats can bite you without leaving a Mark or blood

 

bats dont bite people. and I dont even think they carry rabies.

 

My sister in law was bit by a rabid bat when she was 3 or 4.

 

nope,, goggle says they really dont.. and ive never been bit by no bat and handled a few them to get them out with work gloves of course. but they never bit at me. just happy to be helped. people chase them with brooms its easier to let it settle down on a drape and you can just grab them.. they dont have enough energy to keep flying around.

 

Well, they saw it land on her leg and bite her, and then trapped the bat and it tested positive for rabies, so I don't know what to tell you.

They started the vaccine before the results came back, because apparently if you don't treat it early, it can be too late.

 

has to be rare tho. caught up in hair and you put your hands up there to get it out. bite your finger.
