That's so cool. Apparently very noisy though. We have them too but I guess I don't ever get close enough to hear them. Some folks who live by windfarms though can't stand them.

I would like to see more solar farms. I'm a big fan of solar at the moment specifically for camping purposes but I am also consider throwing solar on my house. The local seller does 8 panels for around 4000€ with an install. That is considerably cheaper than some other places that would come from the city.

 

you can hear turbines but all of my homes before this were in the city and way noisier...years ago I was the second house beside a train trestle.....we could count the cars from the living room if we wanted to....the houses near the ferry dock have to put up with more noise than I...or anyone who lives near a main road or highway....all noisier at times....just not as steady

 

I did know a yoga chick and her boyfriend who tried to homestead with a trailer just up the road....she said the turbies entered her dreams and threw off her entire karmic circle...or some shit like that....she had to move off the island

steely dan was wow. it was way better than I thought but outdoors was kinda steamy at intermission was expecting a nice cool evening not 87F 930 at night so the sticky wasnt so great but inside it was nice and cool. while its a sit down show Bodhisattva jumped up everyone sat til time out of mind and kid char relaxing til reeling in the years there was no do it again just not the speed in the band for that these days

 

Heading back up north today, just waiting for rush hour traffic to clear up a bit. One of the reasons I moved away haha.
