Lived in CA for ten years... Never had a quake. Within a few years of moving back to Ohio there was an earthquake in Illinois that was felt here... Go figure.

I bought 2 (TWO!) big packs of raspberry crumb cakes (8) and a package of raspberrry cheese danish (8).

I ate 2 of one and 1 of the other so quick, I think I gained 3 1/2 pounds. I'm fixing to go get a cup of coffee and one (or both) ...

This was an awful, horrible day.

bleh. There is no life or death situation here...but there are degrees of ring worm.

    dang.

One big special needs Princess of the World. $242 dollars for a "normal check-up" with ringworm diagnosis (wounds on her face is why I took her ... suddenlty appearing, and I didn't understand it!!... and still don't for that matter. NOT that I have to understand anything for it to be so.

    gad...more details to follow

I got this book when I moved out here because I thought I should probably educate myself about quakes. I was surprised to learn they happen with regularity on places that are not plate boundries. They happen in upstate NY, Oklahoma, South Carolina, New England, and, apparently, Ohio. One of the biggest ever in the USA was in Missouri.

    I had no idea.

That particular quake happened very early in the morning... Everybody was sleeping (cats, dogs, birds) Erin the crow woke me up, she was freaking out in her cage. By time I got down stairs the quake hit. She apparently knew it was coming before it hit.

The only problem with that movie is his head.

Its an entertaining movie, a guilty pleasure.

But those squinty eyes, chin that looks like an arse and oversized head, its too distracting

Usually about 20 years in captivity... Oldest known Crow in captivity lived for 50 years.

Wild Crows on the other hand are lucky to see 10 years.

They say animals can sense then coming. I imagine we can too, we just no longer recognize the signs or are too distracted with our digital world.
