I have to help chaperone a children swimming party for hot divorcees daughter's birthday party at 10:30 this morning
... It is a saltwater pool we are going to which I have never been in before I have never swam in the ocean either...
I have to stop committing to things 2 months prior to the event

 

If I had lakes here like NZ I'd choose lake over sea but all I have is sea. It's nice to get out of a lake and feel clean rather than salty. English lakes are muddy green puddles.

 

Saltwater is denser than fresh water so you’re more buoyant.......

 

My friends little girl is sick this morning so the party has been cancelled :-(

I already have my bathing suit on underneath when track pants for a quick change so I can win the race to the pool oh well always next time...

and also thanks to Peter my plants are all soaking wet and I can't even grab one to bring inside and trim with my newfound couple of hours free time

 

rain passing over air event. already started at 9, Im not leaving til 1130. Just going to for community support and the food. be nice to get to ride together without paying . but its not expensive to go riding in a Cessna 75$ hr. and when isnt this gf sick with something? I dont know how person can be sick sick sick all the time and not be in the hospital.

 

It's raining here now. I want to close early. I might. There's no one about. Then I have to cycle in the rain but it probably still wet at 5 so there's no avoiding that.

For about three days ZaKitteth has been guarding the furnace room door... I'm figuring mouse. So yesterday I moved a couple of traps and put fresh bait in them. Right at bedtime last night I heard one of the traps snap and then all this cussing and screaming (small animal cussing and screaming) Went to look and the trap was set off but nobody there. Looked around, didn't see anything.

Went in there this morning and there was a very confused, but otherwise unhurt, Chipmunk in the middle of the floor.... Picked him up and put him outside.

Musta been quite the knock on the head... Poor guy.

In other news... Walmart had Dremel mototools on sale so I have a spare now, brand new in the box. May never use it, Idonno.

I'm using it today to cut off the ends of nails through the floorboards up in the rafters of the basement...

Tomorrow I'll use it to trim 16 dog paws right to the edge of the quick.

Sunday ......who knows the uses I'll find.
