Today, the Insane Clown Posse released their 4th Jokers Card 22 years ago. The Great Mikenko was my first ICP cd that I ever bought. This record was originally released by Disney Records, but upon hearing it, Disney stripped it off the shelves citing that it wasn't promoting the ethics that Disney sought after LOLOLOLOLOL

Disney however had already paid ICP a $million dollars$ for the record, so ICP laughed at them and said you've already paid us, do you really think 2 scrubs from Detroit give a fuck whether that makes the shelves? Y'all just paid us a million dollars. All of our fans already have the album. So they took their record elsewhere and was paid again to release it. The stunt by Disney caused ICP to relentlessly mouth off over the dilemma and no doubt threw ICP into the spotlight of the underground music scene.

The Great Milenko would soon turn into a Platinum Gold Record, ICPs first golden album.

I've never seen the red album cover, mine is green and silver but I have also seen yellow and a purple.

Though I was a metal head and Goth, the albums dark theme really grew on me. The chaotic carnival sounds integrated into the rap was something I'd never heard before. All the sound effects really shined a light to me and I was pretty much hooked. Also my parents couldn't stand the plethora of bitches, fucks and motherfuckers that were spurted throughout the album, another win as it pissed the old folks off.

It was my first rap cd and sprouted me into the world of the Juggalos and an ever life changing experience.

All a sudden I was.....
