I just offended a woman by asking her daughter not to just wander around playing with a squeeze stress toy that she wasn't going to buy. I was perfectly friendly about it. Like, okay, I'll just watch your daughter absent mindedly twist and pull at something that will eventually break and is shop stock. But she immediately decided to leave. Fuckin people.

I have a heavy heart today. I have a friend who recently divorced (divorce was finalized like a month ago) and her ex husband is not paying any child support, or adhering to the court agreements. (She has a five year old) This has been going on now for three months. She is taking him to court for back child support and whatever else he owes. I fear for her life. I can't explain it. I told her to be careful. He is a sociopath, and doesn't seem to care about consequences. He has been in jail before for a DUI, and I can see something bad happening. He used to hit her when they were married.

Have you ever had a premonition?

 

my advice is not to bother going after dude with no money.. move on without that dude. The only thing going to get out a mofo with no money is trouble..

 

The thing is, he has the money. He's just refusing to pay anything. He is dangerous, I think. If he is forced to pay or go to jail, I can honestly see him hurting her. It's just a bad gut feeling that I've had for a while with her situation.

 

In her position I would still take Orison's advice. That's messed up though. People can be such cunts to each other.

I hope your bad feeling is unfounded. Remember, we do hear a lot of bad news these days, lots of horrible stories, they put ideas out there that may be nothing.
Even if your gut feeling is founded.. there isn't much you can do other than look out for her.

Nah we have Galaxy 8 atm but I'm finding the battery is starting to die out very quickly and our phone plans have already been paid off and my screen has been cracked for almost a year since last camp.

Sorry to be negative, I hope your feeling is unfounded too but if he was abusive while they were together there is a probability he could try to hurt her now. She should be as careful and safe as she possibly can.
And I also agree with orison that trying to get child support probably isnt worth it
