Not good for me. Dreadful winds. I hate the high winds. T2 minus 30min

 

I used to whistle those whistles pretty good in my youth

 

I'm a pretty good whistler just through my lips but I never got the hang of doing it with my fingers, like my daddy can whistle real loud, ear peircing through two fingers but I just make fart noises.

I can whistle through my tongue too if I curl it up, but not very loudly, though the distinct sound triggers my dog to come looking for me.

 

I know I've said this before, but I want to say I LOVE to whistle loud. I whistle like your dad, @Irminsul...I put 2 fingers in my mouth, and I can whistle LOUD AS HELL!!!!

I love it so much, and have no idea why. I learned how to do this through youtube. I knew people that could whistle like that, and had people (including my late husband) try to teach me. It took this pretty young lady on youtube to show me! lol

I whistle for Gimli-Benny (my polydactyl) to come to me when I don't see him - and yes, it works. He comes running.

My Russian Blue cat was there this afternoon when I fed my feral cats! He was FIRST to run to me, and first to eat. He looked a little something - not beat up really but maybe something, worse for wear. But he was fine. There was only the Blue, a big (about 4 mon old) kitty and a black one there when I left. So I'm happy and peaceful tonight.

I remember seeing the scorpions at the cne in Toronto...….I didnt make the ''show crew''' so I had to wait till the show was over to start my shift for the take out.....I was standing in the vip section and right beside me is ice t the rapper....thats the braid guy on csi right?....he was just standing there enjoying the scorpions like I was.....I also remember that I was surprised how many songs I knew but didnt know the scporpions did that song...great show.....they are from irmany I think

Law and Order: special victims unit series. 437 episodes almost 20 years going strong for Ice-T. I looked it up, I was curious myself.

Misty got me into Scorpions. She loved them and collected their music posters and cassette tapes.

When we were dating in 89' she called me on the telephone one school night and told me to listen to 93QFM between 7pm to 9pm. I kinda knew what she was planning to do. So starting at 7pm I started recording QFM on a cassette tape. 8pm came around and I put in another cassette tape to record QFM.

I listened, then the Dj said a little after 8pm. (and I'll never ever forget this) " This next song goes out to Pete from Misty, it's Animal Magnetism by the Scorpions"

I couldn't make out much of the lyrics because Klaus sings with his mouth partially closed half the time n mumbles

I did look a few days later inside the cassette tape booklet Misty had. The lyrics I read pretty much summed up "can't wait to have sex with you" Great memories
