it snowed a bit monday and tuesday here. supposed to get up to 52*F (about 11*C, im trying to learn to use celsius interchangeably. its hard.)
i havent been outside to check how my plants fared yet. i think i saw an artichoke from the window. i have a volunteer geranium, looks like it might be the double everblooming or something, which would be awesome. the leaves are finally lobed enough that i think thats what it is. bee balm, pincushion plants, yarrow, wormwood, lambs ears, mums, russian sage all recovering from last years stumps. the yarrow needs to be split up, it takes over a bit, but i love it. its so fluffy. my bleeding heart is also coming back. muscari and tulips and daffodils have been blooming here and there. daylilies are spreading. i have some delphinium coming back too, and the borage and zinnia are starting to come up from last years seeds. im going to dig some of those up and pot them to share, and probably eat some of them too, they taste like cucumber
