I was driving by divorcees house and saw two of her dogs out on the front lawn playing with something which I knew right away something was odd because they aren't allowed to be loose one is a 220 lb Great Dane.. we don't know how they got loose I was able to get them back in the yard but I had to wrestle away this from the Great Dane 20190403_112433.jpg

yep. 105 F is where the brain starts to get damaged. i will usually let a fever go until 102/103 before treating with meds. the fever is there as the body's way to make it uncomfortable for the germs, so its best not to turn the AC on for them. at 103 i make sure to be tracking temps and maintaining or bringing it down. if we hit 104 then i am "concerned" and start looking at getting to a doctor, because if we hit 104 the fever must not be responding to efforts to bring it down.
people who flip out over a 99/100 degree fever blow my mind. i believe thats a big part of why kids are ALWAYS getting sick and staying sick longer. let those immune systems get their practice in, cook those germs off. my kids get sick occasionally, but not often, and they are usually over it pretty quickly.
that said, my normal running temperature is 97.7 (36.5) so if im at 98.6 i know my immune system is activated. everyone should know what their own personal base temperature is. my mom's is even a little lower than mine.

Apparently Dollar Tree sells fentanyl test strips. I've gotta go see this for myself. If they have them here, I might buy a couple dozen packs to hand out on overdose prevention day on the 16th.

Flying the plane is easy.. chatting with atc and telling them where the hell youre going and getting the knack to doing it without sounding like a retard is not..

I dont like talking on the phone to people either , why do I need to talk to you at all, just tell them other airplanes to stay out my way. I know where Im going.

I kid a bits ,, its really not that hard if youre lone aircraft/.... takes a little more practice..

I'm confident the aircraft will make it into Canada .. be patient my southern hombres.. Soon..

Have to take the kid to the dr in an hour. He woke up from his nap tugging at his ears, so I'm guessing an ear infection.

I couldn't get dang HF to show me the pages I've missed for the past couple of days...but when I came across this, I immediately shared it....I don't personally have any Ohio contacts...but the people I AM contacts with may very well have Ohio contacts...so I hope it does even a little good to share it. That is a beautiful dog.

Well, of course as I posted and copied all of that to my page, of course I'm able to come back and read what HF wouldn't let me see for at least 20 minutes. good grief smdh

I'm so glad he was found, and is going to be okay @Orison ... and thanks @rollingalong for letting me know too.

I'm not deleting it...but I'll hide it from my timeline. Lord have mercy,.

Sometimes, I wonder if I'd buy the stuff I buy online, in a store. Like make up for example, I love everything I have bought online, but is it because I'm too lazy to send it back? Do we force ourselves to like the stuff we buy online, because sending it back would be a hassle? Idk....
